One glass. Five jobs.

Most powders pick one promise and shout it. Five whole foods quietly cover more ground.

  • Fiber from five plants

Three separate plant sources, each bringing a different fiber.

  • Energy that stays

Carbohydrate slowed by fiber and protein. It lands, not spikes.

  • Nutrition from food

No isolates, no sprays, nothing added back after.

  • Built to repeat

The habits that last are boring and consistent. So is this.

  • Sixty seconds

No blender, no pan, no plan. One glass to rinse.

Misu is a conventional food, not a treatment, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

It’s a food.
Drunk like matcha.

Five whole foods, roasted separately and milled fine enough to whisk into a paste and pour into milk. That is genuinely the whole thing.

What it is

  • Fiber and protein from complementary sources
  • A drink you’d pick on taste

What it isn’t

Grain part-way through roasting in a steel pan

The reason you’ll actually finish it.

Made in South Korea, where roasted-grain drinks go back more than a thousand years — a recipe refined generation after generation, then engineered so every batch tastes the same.

Made like matcha. Not like a shake.

Whisk a paste first, then let the milk do the rest. It’s the step everyone skips, and the reason most powders end up gritty.

What is Misu?

Five whole foods — brown rice, white rice, hominy corn, black bean and barley — roasted separately, milled fine, and whisked into milk like matcha. One 20 g scoop, ready to mix with your preferred milk.

How does it work?

Each food is in there for a reason. Brown rice keeps its bran, which is where its fiber lives, and gives the glass its body. White rice is milled the finest and carries the smooth finish. Hominy corn is alkaline-cooked before roasting — the step that softens the kernel and unlocks its niacin. Black bean brings plant protein and fiber still attached to a real legume. Barley contributes beta-glucan, a soluble fiber, plus the malty top note.

Together the carbohydrate arrives alongside fiber and protein rather than on its own, so the energy comes on gradually.

How is it made?

One food at a time. Each is prepared on its own terms — hominy alkaline-cooked, black bean roasted through, rice conditioned first — then roasted individually and pulled off the heat at its own colour rather than on a shared batch clock.

Only once all five are right are they milled fine and blended into one repeatable scoop. It is slower and it costs more, and it is the reason the blend tastes roasted rather than scorched.

How do I make it?

One scoop into a cup, then just enough hot water to cover the powder. Froth for ten seconds until it’s glossy and smooth, then pour into hot or iced milk. About sixty seconds, and one glass to rinse.

What does it taste like?

Toasted cereal and warm rice with a malty finish — much closer to a grain latte than to a green powder. The roast builds a deep nuttiness that many people read as sweetness even though nothing sweet is added — smooth, never chalky, never bitter.

Will it keep me satisfied?

It’s a real, light breakfast on its own. Made with dairy or soy milk it gets more substantial, and it pairs happily with fruit, yogurt or toast on the mornings you want more. Most people land on a version that suits them within the first week.

What does it do for digestion?

Three of the five foods bring their own plant fiber — brown rice, black bean and barley — and barley adds beta-glucan, a soluble fiber. That’s a genuine daily contribution, and it arrives inside food rather than as an added isolate. Exact per-serving figures publish with the lab analysis.

Caffeine or added sugar?

Neither. 0 mg caffeine and 0 g added sugar, sweetener or flavouring. What people take for sweetness is really the nuttiness of the roast, so there’s nothing to taper and nothing to pay back later in the day.

What else is in the bag?

Nothing. The full formula by weight is brown rice 32%, white rice 26%, hominy corn 19%, black bean 13%, barley 10%. Every ingredient is printed on the front, including the barley — which means Misu contains gluten, and you can see that at a glance rather than hunting for it.
